We’re moving! Our friend Nik found us an apartment near the river that looks almost brand new, has air conditioning, a fridge, a nice view, and a cute little balcony.
While we’ve enjoyed our current residence, we’ve had this creepy feeling that the proprietor was always keeping tabs on us, like she thought we were a couple of “those agitators”. it will be nice to have one big bed, more leeway on cooking, and in general to be in a long-stay setting rather than a hotel with a bunch of 1-3 day guests. It also feels more “right” to be living in a place that your average Thai can afford rather than a farang-oriented guesthouse.
